Zucchini update
I think squash is going to be one of those veggies that does really well in a self watering containers. The zucchini is growing good I think. Here it is two weeks later from the previous photo.
A quick strawberry tree update
Here is a quick photo of the strawberry tree. I still think it's cool to think that this only takes up about 2 sq/ft of floor space and has 24 plants on it.
It's almost full size!
I've been eating the lettuce on occasion, but the remaining is getting full size. Soon be ready for some harvesting and salads. I should really consider planting some more I think.
Cabbage Anyone?
The cabbage is taking over the containers. I knew from the start it was going to be a tight fit, but so far so good.
Full of green blueberries
The little blueberry bush is now full of green blueberries. It's only about 24" high, but it looks like it will have quite a few nice plump blueberries.
A Quick Basil update
Just a quick basil update with photo. The basil is growing nicely, even with the cold weather we've been having.
Finally Sourced Partially Composted Bark Fines!
Earlier this week I got a phone call from a friend who has been working on getting his dad's garden area set up. They got about 2 yards of what looked like pretty decent topsoil.
Yellow and Green Summer Squash
There are two 18 gallon containers with zucchini squash, one with yellow - Gold Rush, and the other with Sungreen. Each container will have two plants.
