Yesterday I found the first two strawberry blossoms on the ever-bearing strawberries in the strawberry tree. The strawberry tree is doing ok. The growth on the smaller plants is a little slower than I hopped. The more mature plants that I put in it are progressing nicely.
On another strawberry note, the wild strawberries that I stole from my moms property are growing amazingly. They have more leaves and new growth than any I remember seeing growing up. Of course the ones we picked at home were fighting for water and light in several inches of leaves and weeds under the fir and madrone trees.
