Gold Rush Summer Squash

This plant grew fast and healthy looking and has produced well. I really like the flavor of the Gold Rush summer squash. I'll definitely plant more next year. I did have 2 or 3 squash that I had to toss due to blossom end rot at about 5 inches long, but this seemed to come and go with the cool weather. Since it's warmed up, I've not had any rot problems at all.

I still need to work on my fertilizer program though, as clearly seen by the shape of the squash. The fast growth / slow growth pattern does not match up with the weather, but it does with the fertilizing intervals. I'll figure it out someday.
