Wild Strawberries

I 'stole' four wild strawberry plants from my Mom's property last time I visited. They had just started their new growth. The plants are much more delicate looking than the 'normal' strawberry plants and the berries are often only about the size of a nickle. But the flavor is much more sweet and intense than any I've had from the store.

I planted these in a 18x12x8" container in the greenhouse. One of them started blooming last week. The others are growing well and constantly sending out new growth.

I would like to find out what variety they actually are. They grow wild in northern California in the dryer fir groves.
